AVI Roofing Exhibits at Maintenance Mania 2026
If it felt like everyone in property management and multi-family housing was talking about Maintenance Mania this year - you weren’t imagining it. Maintenance Mania 2026 was bigger and more impactful than ever this year, bringing together the best in apartment maintenance technicians from across hundreds of management companies in the industry.
Hosted and organized by AAMD, Colorado’s largest apartment association, Maintenance Mania took place on April 15 at the National Western Complex (a standout venue that AVI Roofing had re-roof a few years prior). The event delivered a full day of apartment industry networking, hands-on learning, and skills-based competition designed specifically for apartment maintenance professionals and property management teams.
Supporting the Multi-Family Maintenance Community
Maintenance Mania continues to be one of the most valuable property management events in Colorado, offering a unique supplier partner trade show, maintenance education sessions, and high-energy competitions that highlight essential apartment maintenance skills.
AVI Roofing was thrilled to once again participate as a supplier partner and exhibit at the show. We’ve partnered with AAMD since 2015, supporting maintenance teams across the apartment and multi-family industry through sponsorships. Watching Maintenance Mania grow year after year reflects the importance of strong maintenance teams in successful property operations.
This year, AVI hosted a booth in the front row of the trade show floor, allowing us to connect directly with maintenance technicians and some property managers from across Colorado. Our raffle giveaway, featuring a Carhartt jacket and Maglite flashlight, drew significant interest and created great conversations with professionals we work with every day. We loved meeting new techs, re-uniting with long-standing clients and even cheering on a few of them on for a well earned promotion or two!
Education Built for Apartment Maintenance
After breakfast and registration, attendees selected from education sessions running 9:00–11:30 a.m., each designed to support compliance, safety, and performance in multi-family property management.
Educational topics included:
HVAC mandates for apartment communities
Pool water chemistry and regulatory compliance
Electrical systems in multi-family buildings
Maintenance safety training and medical preparedness
These classes offered practical insights that maintenance teams can immediately apply on-site, reinforcing how education and training directly impact resident satisfaction and property value.

Competitive Games
Following a midday recess, the focus shifted to the highly anticipated competitions. Maintenance professionals formed teams withing their property management companies, competing in hands-on challenges tied directly to daily apartment maintenance work.

Race Car Challenge, where teams designed and raced custom-built cars within defined specs.
These competitions highlighted the technical skill and problem-solving ability that apartment maintenance professionals bring to their roles every day.

Winners were announced at the end of the day, with AAMD awarding top-tier prizes, including toolkits, a DeWalt set, medals, trophies, and even an Oculus Rift. Supplier partners, like AVI Roofing, also contributed raffle giveaways to celebrate participants.
Our AVI raffle drew an impressive number of entries, confirming just how popular maintenance-focused gear is within the apartment industry. One lucky winner went home with the Carhartt jacket and Maglite set!
Celebrating the Backbone of Property Management
Maintenance Mania continues to be one of the most impactful multi-family industry events, celebrating the professionals who keep apartment communities safe and functional. It was a pleasure reconnecting with longtime partners, meeting new faces, and cheering on promotions and achievements throughout the Colorado property management community. Attendees across the board enjoyed networking, swag, and well-earned recognition.
