2026 AAMD Education Conference & Trade Show
The Apartment Association of Metro Denver (AAMD) once again delivered a standout event with its 2026 Education Conference & Trade Show. Raising the bar by expanding to a full two days of learning and networking.
This year’s format gave property managers and apartment industry professionals even more opportunities to grow and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape. With thousands of attendees and hundreds of companies represented, the energy across both days was palpable.
One of the most exciting developments this year was the expanded education schedule. With more than 26 sessions available, attendees were able to tailor their experience to topics most relevant to their roles and goals.
From navigating new legislation to improving HR practices and talent retention strategies, the sessions covered a wide range of timely and impactful topics. Industry experts also led discussions on emerging trends like artificial intelligence, executive leadership, leasing and sales strategies, mental health awareness, diversity and inclusion, community safety, and the latest in property amenities.
The conference keynote, delivered by former NFL player and motivational speaker Jon Dorenbos, brought inspiration and perspective, setting the tone for a conference centered on growth and innovation.
The Trade Show Floor Comes to Life
While attendees immersed themselves in education sessions on day one, supplier partners were hard at work preparing for the highly anticipated trade show, arguably the highlight of the event for many.
As one of AAMD’s longest-standing supplier members (since 2015), AVI Roofing was proud to be part of this year’s showcase once again. We kept our booth clean and focused, featuring a new visual presentation that highlighted our work over the past two years. Our display brought together our full range of services, stunning drone footage of recent roof projects, and a streamlined look at what sets AVI Roofing apart; all tailored specifically for our tradeshow audience.
A Game That Raised the Roof
Of course, no trade show booth is complete without a bit of fun.
Our interactive guessing game challenged attendees to estimate the number of tiles featured in a photo from one of our inspections - right here in Colorado. We received a wide range of guesses (some closer than others), but two sharp-eyed participants came remarkably close, guessing 1,200 tiles. The actual number? 1,142.

A Show to Remember
Beyond the booths and sessions, the atmosphere this year was unforgettable thanks to a creative circus-themed experience. From ring-toss games and balloon darts to elaborately decorated booths, the show floor was full of color and personality this year.
Costumed vendors added to the excitement, you could spot everything from clowns to strongmen throughout the aisles, and even a stilt walker made an appearance. It was a fun, lively reminder that while our industry is serious business, there’s always room for creativity and connection.
That's why we look forward to these shows. We always value the opportunity to connect face-to-face, and this year was no exception. It was especially great to reconnect with familiar faces while also meeting new professionals in the industry.
