The First Annual AVI Games - 2025

AVI Roofing held a field day celebrate our staff, we held admin and roofing games to test employees agility and provide a fun atmosphere for our employees and their families.

Do you ever miss being a kid? Do you enjoy what you do at your job? We wanted to celebrate our employees and the skills that they use every single day on the job while giving them a day to play and relax with their families and coworkers. On June 20th, 2025, AVI Roofing hosted the very first annual AVI Games. This concept blossomed from the idea of an “Adult Field Day” for our employees. Then we thought, why not make the games roofing related, and then ask our incredible and dedicated suppliers to donate prizes to raffle off! And of course, having the most supportive and enthusiastic Reps that we love from these incredible companies: IKO , SRS (formerly American Roofing Supply), QXO (formerly Beacon), as well as our Insurance Broker Woodruff Sawyer, we were able to get some incredible raffle prizes together!

We wanted everyone to feel like they could play, so we made “Roofing” games and “Admin” games. Only roofing professionals may compete in the roofing portion of games. We had a great turn out and tons of participants in the games! It was so nice to see employees get into their competitive and fun sides that we don’t always get to see at work or on the job.

We are so grateful for our hard-working employees who make AVI Roofing your Premier Colorado Roofer. These individuals work hard everyday to keep AVI at the top of the industry. While we had an absolute blast watching and competing in these games, we also enjoyed some delicious breakfast burritos from Gomez’s and a mouth-watering lunch catered by Lulu’s BBQ. It was a perfect meal for a summer day at the park.

One thing you may not know about AVI is how rooted in family we are, and that isn’t a metaphor. This company was founded by an incredible family and you’ll find several more families scattered amongst our ranks. That means we know family is important, and spending time together can get hard when it comes to schedules, locations, and work. That is why we made this event family-friendly. Well that, and our employees’ children are the best, so we love to include them! There were so many activities and games to play! We made a “Kid’s Area” with roofing themed crafts, bubbles, face painting, toys, and art, too! And we had kites, water balloons, water guns, and even a water table in the park that was really wonderful to have on such a hot day.

It was definitely the first day of summer! Temperatures of over 100 degrees, UV Index of 12, and we felt it all! Luckily we came prepared with ice, canopies for shade, and cold drinks, not to mention the sunscreen, water balloons, and misters! We had such a blast hanging out with everyone at this incredible company and we are so excited to make it even better next year! Check out the winners below!
